Advocacy & Public Policy
The MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce works to influence public policy that is beneficial to the business in the region. Through the Chamber’s staff and volunteer members of the Legislative/Public Policy Committee, we meet with elected officials and their staff, use media campaigns and partner with like minded organizations to champion for pro-business issues.
The Chamber also is a resource for members who may need assistance in navigating various aspects of government including on the local, State, County and Federal levels. Employer Legislative Committee (ELC)
The MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce involvement in the Mercer County Employer Legislative Committee spans over 25 years and has now partnered with other Chambers of Commerce in the area, strengthening efforts to remain informed on and support State legislation that beneficial to employers large and small. Mercer ELC meets on a monthly basis for lunch to discuss issues critical to business.
